Transport security

transport-securityThe movement of hazardous materials is a task that is carried out on a day to day basis by regulated companies using land, sea or air transportation. Thousands of materials are covered by international and national regulations because of their flammable, explosive or corrosive nature. The security in moving such materials along or around the infrastructure of the world’s transit highways requires consent monitoring to ensure safe delivery.

Unfortunately, errors in handling or accidents can and do happen in the transportation of hazardous cargo. Because of the characteristics of some materials, spillage or possible explosion requires the quick evacuation of non essential personnel from the scene. Such incidents can occur in densely populated areas that necessitate informing the First Responder organisations that must ensure that community impact procedures are put in place.

Our solutions have been developed both independently and in collaboration with other subject matter experts (SME) to enhance a proper cross-fertilization of ideas and principals that insure precise consequence management of any impending hazardous situation. We can provide fast and practical information for organisations so that they can act to the situation by either dealing with the incident themselves or passing the information onto the proper emergency agencies.
