HazCore™

HazCore™ allows a bespoke solution for providing additional hazard calculation functions within an already established Incident or Command and Control software system. There is a multitude of software in the marketplace to carry out various forms of consequence management. These systems may already meet the user’s requirements to
carry out various functions; all that maybe required is to expand the capability of the system to include a simple
form of hazard prediction. If the system is already an expensive addition to enable that organization to positively
act to a situation, then buying a completely new Command and Control application could be inappropriate.

HazCore™ can provide the capability to wrap hazard calculation components into an existing application to enhance the potential use of that system. Most of the interface considerations of the hazard calculation engine will be on a case by case basis. It is envisaged that providing a COTS resolution could be unreasonable, due to the variety of different types of Command and Control systems already in the market place. Interacting with the communication protocols that the existing system already uses may also have to be considered.
