EOD/IEDD Software

Bruhn NewTech's family of EOD/IEDD Risk Management software applications are designed to provide the operator with a complete integrated solution. The products are designed to be adapted to national standards, as opposed to adapting national standards to the products.

The software products provide electronic tools for the operator to use depending on the actual task to hand. These tools range from a PDA based application for a simple task of looking up information over a stand-alone application for hazard management and risk assessment to a server based application for data capture, quality assurance and control.

EOD Robot Integration

This function is a chemical, radiological and metrological sensor integration solution that is suitable for installation on a Remote Operated Vehicle or connected to Command vehicle or any land platform. The software can also be used as a stand alone version, with or without sensors that will display hazard templates for terrorist devices which might contain Explosives, Radiological isotopes, Chemical Agents, Biological Agents or Toxic Industrial Materials.

The sensor array can acquire chemical, biological and radiological information and meteorological data, this allows the software to be a risk management package designed to provide the operator with a complete solution for managing CBRN incidents by enhancing co-ordination, aiding decision-making and assisting with the operational tasking of both military and civil emergency agencies.

Demining Planning and Operation

Our products can provide Demining teams with: Minefield management, Hazard calculation, Process and control Mine and UXO administration, carry out Quality Assurance & Quality Control (National standards or International Mine Action Standards) The system can be integratated into the software application and is designed to record data in the field and at a central server that collects and stores the reported data. The SOP 's and process descriptions are integrated  in the central system and can be transferred to the field system automatically .

Operators Tool:

  • Record tasks in an area, combined with the mapping function

  • In the module, you can display on the map:

    • Work areas.

    • Subdivision of work areas.

    • Reports and Status of work areas (to be transmitted to the Project Managers Tool ) .

    • Links (files, images, data) to  each sub area.

  • Show the detailed flowcharts to the operator and the documentation behind the procedure(s).
    At the operator's station, there will be no  live data reporting (unless online with the project manager server).

Project Managers Tool:

The project manager module is a  web  based server database, where you can input the workload put into each sub area. Set the status for each area, with regard to the described workflows or if none given, just set the percentage of work done in that particular area.

  • The management can prioritise areas.

  • Data, concerning the clearance, can be recorded.

  • Deadlines can be set.

  • Statistical analysis can be made.

  • Documents can be filed.
